Auction for People Helping Horses
"Urgent." People Helping Horses is a respected Washington state
registered 501 (3) c nonprofit that rescues, rehabilitates and re-trains abused and abandoned horses. They also focus heavily on public education and awareness issues to help reduce the number of unwanted horses, and have been successfully operating for 5 years.
Howeverwith economic uncertainties---their individual and corporate donations have declined dramatically nationally. And with the cost of hay jumping 140 percent in less than a year [as well as other feeds and supplies]the demand for rescue is expected to dramatically increase this winter, as people loose property, homes and jobs.
To help supplement needed income and prepare for winter they are holding their first annual auction, Dancin in the Dirt on Sept. 13th---and its bound to be a toe-tappin good time. To be held in their large arena---200 guests will enjoy bar-b-que and bluegrass and country music. Both silent and live-auction items are needed for a diverse crowd of bidders and revelers. Although attendees will be horse rescue supporters--- a variety of services, products, art, gift baskets and gift certificates are needed. So, think, travel and entertainment, legal, business, web and tax services and products, beauty and health services and products, pet services and pet health, home and garden, on and offline gift certificates.
