Two Great Events Happening This Weekend

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Come to two great events to benefit our animal companions.
On Saturday, August 20 All Dogs Day is at Camp Charlie Off-Leash Area in Duvall, WA 11AM to 4PM. This fun day is in honor of National Homeless Animals Day. Super Dogs for Adoption! Fun Activities & Presentations! Doggie Massage, Treats, Art & More! Contests & Prizes! Bring your dog to the 15 Acre Off-Leash Area! Of course, Joy will be there! Have a mini-session with Joy. The cost for 5 minute session is $15 and 10 minutes for $30. Should be a howling good time for all dogs and those who love them. Hosted by Pawsitive Alliance. The other event is a HUGE GARAGE SALE hosted by Homeward Pet Adoption Center on Friday, August 19 as well as Saturday. Homeward's annual garage sale will be from 10 AM to 5 PM at the southwest parking lot located in the Country Village Shopping Center in Bothell, WA. Volunteers are needed the days of the sale and Thursday, August 18 to help set up and price items. Homeward is also looking for donations that would include new, like new items that are in good working condition. Check around and see if you have any household items including small appliances, small pieces of furniture, linens, dishes, garden equipment, books, CD's, sports equipment, (no large exercise equipment), toys, plants and pictures you would like to donate for their sale. All proceeds go to help the dogs and cats at the shelter. As has been done in the past, any donated items are to be delivered to the sale site Thursday, August 18 between the hours of 11 AM and 6 PM.
