Saturday, May 10 from 10 - 3 PM - Average Joe Cat Show - A cat show for your cat! This is it! This is a cat show for family cats. For YOUR cat. Is your cat the sweetest cat ever? The most obnoxious? Is she the most average cat? Does he have the loudest Purr? Does she like to dress up? Is your cat a monster cat? Enter you cat in the Average Joe Cat Show contest! Every cat earns a ribbon for each category entered: one first place and a whole bunch of second place ribbons for each category! Average Joe Cat Show, Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA Entrance fee $5 per person or $12 for family. There will also be Vendor booths, Contests, Cat adoptions, Kitten adoptions, Cat behavior experts, silent auction, monster cats & Cat Psychic - Joy Turner. 5 minute session is $20 with $5 being donated to Purrfect Pals. Saturday, May 17 Pet Talk with Harrison Forbes: Saturdays from 1:00-3:00 PST on KGIL 1260/540AM in LA and you can be a part of the show by calling 1-888-458-1260 during the broadcast. At 2:30 PM Pacific Time - Joy will be Harrison's guest. They will be discussing how she got involved with Talk With Your Animals. Sunday, May 18 from 1-3 PM - Joy's first Tele-Seminar titled Open Forum - Do you have loved ones, animals or humans, on the other side you would like to speak with? Would you like to know what your animals are thinking and feeling? Would you like the perspective of your Soul and Spiritual Guides about anything in your life? Saturday, May 31 from 10 - 2 PM - Celebrating Kitsap Humane Society's 100 years of Service. Kitsap PetsWALK, Kitsap Fairgrounds, 1200 NW Fairgrounds Rd., Bremerton, WA - PetsWALK is a community event that promotes good health and good fun while bringing people and their pets together to raise money for the local Kitsap Humane Society Shelter. Highlights of PetsWALK 2008 - 1K and 5K walk, Frisbee Contest, Pet Talent Contest, Pet Costume Contest, K-9 Demonstrations, Low-cost Microchip Clinic, Vendor Fair, Purebred Information Show, Pet Communicator - Joy Turner. 5 minute session is $20 with $5 being donated to PetsWALK. Dooley's Dog House Event in May will be on May 17, Saturday. Their annual Pet Fair, "Happy! Healthy! Pet Fair!" from 10am to 5pm and will feature select vendors, rescue groups with cats and dogs up for adoption, local pet sitters, groomers, and more! There will also be raffle drawings for great prizes, the top being a $200 Dooley's shopping spree and tickets for the raffle are given out free with each purchase between now and the fair. Animal Communication Club Offered to everyone who has taken any of Joy's animal communication classes. Have access to Joy through email to ask her questions about the communication process (not about your animal specifically). Receive help with the following: places you are stuck, move skills to a new level, the type of questions or the way you are asking the questions, your interpretations from the animals, etc.

A club newsletter with questions and answers will be e-mailed once a month to all participants. It is a great way to keep moving forward with your skills after you have taken any of her classes! Perhaps you are thinking of traveling by air with your animal kid to your next destination? Check out the airlines' website for information on how to safely travel on the airplane with him/her. Did you know sedation is not advised since the effects of tranquilizers on animals at high altitudes are unpredictable?
