Events in May

This Saturday, May 5, 10 AM to 3 PM - The 4rd Annual Average Joe Cat Show at the Shoreline Center, Spartan Gymnasium at Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA. This fun event is a benefit for the Purrfect Pals Shelter. Awards given to kitties with the longest tail, the longest whiskers, the biggest/smallest body, the cutest face, etc. Vendors will also be there including Joy who will be facilitating mini-sessions. 5 minutes $15 or 10 minutes $30. Then on Saturday, May 19, 12 to 4 PM - Grand Opening for Unleashed Pawsabilities - Your store for Upscale Pet Products and Decor for Dogs & Cats. Last week Joy mentioned she had a flea remedy which works for her. A number of people contacted her to find out what it is. There are two things she uses with her animal kids (dogs and cats). One is to put several drops of Lavender essential oil into a spray bottle of water, shake and spray onto the animals. She has been told by aroma therapists that Lavender is safe for cats especially diluted. It seems to keep the fleas at bay. The other product that can be bought is called Buddy Splash which can be found at pet stores. This product also works well on fleas.
