Joy's guest for tomorrow's show will be Mary Ann Kennedy. Grammy nominated hit songwriter from Nashville, TN., Mary Ann Kennedy, creates music that celebrates the horse. A level 3 Parelli natural horsemanship student herself, Mary Ann seems to express what we all feel in our hearts for our beloved horses and the life we all live with them. Through melody, rhythm and humor in song, this is music that we horse lovers can listen and ride to. At the request of Linda Parelli, Mary Ann penned a special 'fluidity' theme song called "When You Carry Me". She also honors a saying by Pat Parelli in the song "Green on Green" (makes black and blue). Along with her former "The Trail Less Traveled" released in 2002,"Hoofbeats,Heartbeats & Wings" is indeed OUR music. Music from the heart about horses and the animals we love. There's none other like it.

"I have 2 passions in my life. The love of horses and animals, and the love of music. "The Trail Less Traveled" and the newly released "Hoofbeats, Heartbeats & Wings" embraces them both. My two soul animals: my dear pug, Choy, and the colt I raised, Tonka, shared a birthday on May 16th. Choy was 15 years old and Tonka was 9 when their souls flew away together in August of 2000. Through my deep grief, little did I know that they would inspire a whole new chapter in my life. I began writing songs about them and other animal loves of my life. Death and rebirth, the circle of life....it is amazing and I continue to be grateful. They are now my angels, they're 'not really gone".
