Joy's guest for tomorrow is MaryLynn Monroe. She runs the Furry Family Friends which began in April 2007 in order to provide pet food to low and no income pet owners. It operates on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 3pm-5pm in the Seattle area. However, she accepts donations, both monetary as well as food, at any time. A website is currently being developed. She began Furry Family Friends because, as a low-income disabled pet owner, she realized the lack of pet food supply services for people like herself. Our pets are our family and finances should not dictate feeding them. Furry Family Friends tries to step in with food supplies when money does not stretch to feed our furry friends. She emphasizes that without donations, either pet food or money, this company cannot exist. Animal lovers are the backbone of this business.
